COEP Pune is a Unitary Public University of the Government of Maharashtra established in 1854. It was formerly known as the College of Engineering Pune and was recently renamed COEP Technological University (COEP Tech). COEP Pune campus is located over 36 acres. The university is also ranked 77 in the NIRF 2024 rankings under the Engineering category.

COEP Pune offers B.Tech, B.Tech (Lateral), M.Tech, M.Plan, MBA, PG Diploma, and Ph.D. courses. The flagship course offered by COEP is B.Tech, and admission to the program is based on MHT CET (State Quota Candidates) and JEE Main (All India Quota) scores. For admission to an MBA, a valid score in MAH-MBA CET is required, while admission to a PG Diploma is based on a personal interview conducted by the concerned department of the college.
